Bet on Doers

There are talkers and there are doers. Talkers talk. It’s their job. They have opinions on everything and they rarely take action. Doers do and they figure it out as they go. DHH reminds me of this. He’s a doer. He was building Basecamp and instead of just complaining about existing tools, he extracted the patterns into Ruby on Rails. One of the most elegant frameworks ever made. He didn’t wait for permission or perfect conditions. He just built. Bet on doers.
