The Cost of Rambling

Some people ramble. In business, that’s a liability. It signals insecurity and a need to be heard. Most people who do this lack self awareness. Their ego gets in the way and they often end up isolated, blaming the outside world. You’ll often hear them complaining or drifting into nostalgia. Three tells give them away, they talk about themselves mostly, their tone leaks insecurity and they jump from topic to topic trying to land a point. They do it to seek attention and be liked. This stems from low self esteem.
